Charles Frank Arcieri (1885 - 1945)  Ladies at Leisure (Sold)
Charles Frank Arcieri was born on November 11, 1885 in San Francisco, California. He is best known for his figure and landscape paintings, as well as his illustrations. Arcieri studied under Charles Chapel Judson, Frank von Sloun, and Theodore Wores at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute in San Francisco; which was destroyed by the earthquake and fire in 1906. By 1933, he moved to Grantwood, New Jersey and that same year became a member of the Allied Artists of America. Arcieri died in 1945. |
